Bryan Schroeder is a composer, songwriter and producer of modern instrumental music. Over the past decade he has given rise to a diverse collection of new chamber music for brass, percussion, woodwinds and choir, while also composing and producing a wide range of contemporary, world and popular music recordings. He received his education at Kansas State University (BM), studying trumpet and brass with Dr. Gary Mortenson and composition with Hanley Jackson and Ian Coleman. Bryan conducted his first world premiere with the KSU Trumpet Ensemble at the 2001 International Trumpet Guild Conference (ITG) in Evansville, Indiana. He has since been regularly commissioned for new works, including premieres at the 2004 ITG Conference in Denver, Colorado and the 2010 ITG Conference in Sydney, Australia. His music has been performed in the USA, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Iceland and Thailand. As a studio producer/engineer, Schroeder has worked on numerous projects, ranging from acoustic, rock and pop to world, new age and meditation music.
